Stay tuned for the next phase of the continued growth of Mud Lake Stalls

Mud Lake Stalls was first started by Richard and Donna Pray at their home in DePeyster back in 1995 and is still a family owned business that now includes their adult children and several employees. Richard saw a need and opportunity for locally manufactured free stalls, tie stalls, gates and other hardware products so he started building them in his small shop at home . The business quickly grew, with request for skid steer and tractor loader attachments, various types of feeder wagons, round bale carriers and much more. The businessquickly grew beyond part time and Richard made the leap to become a full time manufacturer.

Allen Merrill comes to M L S Equipment with over 25 years of dairy farming experience and 20+ years experience in agricultural sales, both wholesale and retail. Allen was born and raised in northern Vermont and spent his first 47 years there. He started working for a local dairy farmer at the age of 13 and by the time he was 23 he had his own herd of cows. He was an active member of the Holstein Association and over the years bought and sold many high caliber animals. In 1998 Allen moved to Croghan NY where he still resides and took a job working for a well known agricultural equipment distributor. For the next 17 years he sold equipment to most of the farm equipment dealers in the eastern half on NY until he officially "retired" at the end of December 2016. After a very short while he became bored and began working with Richard Pray at Mud Lake Stalls helping set up and manage their new dealership in Gouverneur.
